Exciting news for RSH in 2022/ 2023!

(17/ 5/ 22 shared today in a newsletter to families also)

We have some exciting news to share with you about Roaming Schoolhouse in 2022/ 2023! We are currently in the process of changing RSH to be be an association. This kind of organization will create more opportunities for what classes/ camps/ events we can offer (and how) and we can't wait for the next school year to start so you can see for yourselves.

Roaming Schoolhouse is one big, nice & friendly family

Elliott B. joined us for his 3eme stage in December. During the week he got to meet with the different RSH staff to learn what they do, observe classes, and also help out in classes and camp. See following what Elliott had to say about this time with RSH so far....

My journey with Roaming Schoolhouse

My first RSH memory is from my second year, after I joined when I was 5. I remember sitting on my teacher's chair whenever she got up and, of course, I wouldn't get up again (kids, don't do what I did!). That was Gillian's first year with RSH.

What is being bilingual like for you?

September 18: Listen to Derek talk to bilingual children about their thoughts and feelings on the subject.

Does your child hate feeling different, and being asked to "perform" in their French class? Or are they anxious about what language to use? Or maybe it doesn't bother them at all?

WHEN: Saturday, September 18, 10h - 11h

WHERE: online - see below for registration details.

Guidelines for Summer Camp

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your confidence in Roaming Schoolhouse. Please find below our guidelines for camp. This will be a lengthy document, but we need to be as clear and precise as possible.

The team will continue to monitor the situation and discuss any easing of our guidelines that we feel appropriate. If we decide to make any changes, you will be informed right away.
